Police Officer Recruits earn $49,642 upon signing, and jump to $54,606 after completing the Academy. Certified Officers can earn 50% credit for their qualified time and are eligible for a streamlined hiring and training process. And don”t forget the hiring bonus – new officers receive $2,500 upon completing the academy and Certified Officers are eligible to receive $4,000 hiring bonus. It pays to work in Suffolk!
